We bring to you top 10 most educated states in Nigeria in 2018!
What is the most educated states ranking based on? Education is a vital element for every person. It requires a lot of effort, time and money. Education in a country is not only about schools but many other educational institutions. It helps people cope better with the outside world! The most educated people of the country can provide a real development to all branches of economy in this country. Nigeria is one of the most populated countries in Africa! In addition, it’s one of the most educated countries on the continent.
It consists of 36 states, where hardworking people work towards the country`s development. Education is another tool to achieve this development. For a long time, the South-West states have been dominating the market of education in Nigeria. How about this year? Which are the most educated states in Nigeria? There are a lot of standards that have been considered while compiling the list of the most educated states, like:
Literacy level;
The number of educational institutions;
The number of scholars and professors;
The number of educated women.
It`s not the whole list but the most crucial points of education for any country. According to the above-mentioned criteria and data from the National University Commission Statistics, provides its top 10 most educated states in Nigeria. This does not mean you have to agree with this ranking, but you can`t ignore the statistics, can you? The most educated state in Nigeria –
10. Ogun state The most prominent education facilities of Ogun state are three schools of the federal level: Odogbolu College; Sagamu College; Federal Government Girls` College. The State also has these higher institution: Tai Solarin College of Education; Federal University of Agriculture; Moshood Abiola Polytechnic; Olabisi Onabanjo University Ago Iwoye. It`s not the whole list of the institutions in the state, but you can get a general picture of education in this part of the country!

9. Ondo state
Ondo State has its ups and downs when it comes to education. This process of education can be traced from Baba Adekunle Ajasin to Dr. Olusegun Mimiko. According to Hope Newspapers, the state used to be in the top five most educated states. Today, it has lost its education position. The situation in the state shows that without good administration it’s impossible to develop the educational sector
