Jamb is currently the No. 1 trending topic on twitter after their recent announcement left people pondering about the future of education in Nigeria.
The Joint Admission and Matriculation Board, JAMB, has fixed minimum cut off marks for admissions into universities in Nigeria at 120, polytechnics and colleges of education at 100, while that of innovative enterprising institutes at 110. Institutions are, however, at liberty to raise their cut off marks for admission above the minimum set by JAMB.
The very fact that '120' was set as the minimum cut off mark admissions into Nigerian universities didn't go down too well with people on social media, and they reacted angrily at what is perceived as a blow to the Nigerian educational system. See the tweets below.

Cut off mark for JAMB is now 120/400. They lowered the standards for President Buhari. They lowered the standards for Nigerian students.
