A student of the Imo state university reportedly collapsed after
she was flogged by a lecturer identified as Prof Egbe Richard from the
faculty of social science.
According to reports, Prof. Egbe allegedly used his belt to flog
the student who came for her exams, the lady fainted from the beating.
She was later revived by her colleagues, who poured sachets of water on her head.
The lady developed knee injuries from her collapse.
Earlier
this year, we reported a case of undergraduates at the university of
lagos(UNILAG), who were flogged by a lecturer from the Faculty of Arts,
for coming late.
