Major important question in most readers lips is that ,why are these
girls doing this and what is their benefit in this dirty act.Such an
innocent looking girl.
Many could have thought otherwise of her ability
to do such thing. It will be very unfortunate and embarrassing for some
nowadays’ young folks when they actually look back to see the footpath
they left behind, especially when they grow older and are asked to
account for how they have lavishly spent their youthful days.
The above photo is that of a university girl that snatched her
roommate boyfriend, but my main concern is how on earth those nud.e
photos got to her friend’s possession in the first place if they have
not been snapping them and sending to sugar daddies and for some other
stupid reasons. Well, see for yourself the full photos below….
An international institute which ranks universities across the globe,
Cybermetrics Lab of Spain, has rated the Obafemi Awolowo University,
Ile-Ife, Osun State, as the best university in Nigeria, for the fifth
consecutive time.
A statement issued by the Public Relations
Officer of OAU, Mr. Abiodun Olarewaju, on Thursday, stated that the
university ranking body rated the curricular, research, academic and
general administration of the university as the best in the country.
Olarewaju
stated that in the latest ranking, which was released on Monday, the
universities of Lagos and Ilorin came second and third respectively.
Reacting to the news, the Vice Chancellor of OAU, Prof. Bamitale Omole,
said this was the first time in the history of higher education in the
country where one university “would maintain its position as the first
and the best in the country for more than four consecutive times.”
Omole
attributed the feat to years of hard work and dedication to duty of the
academic, administrative and technical members of staff, “whose
contributions have placed the university far and above more than 100
other universities in Nigeria.”
The statement partly read, “Prof.
Omole emphasised his determination to make training and retraining of
members of staff, on a regular basis, his topmost priority, adding that
he would not rest on his oars until OAU becomes the best in Africa, and
one of the top 10 in the world.”
Omole called on the Federal Government to invest more funds into university education in the country in order to achieve more.
The
VC also called on the alumni of the university to assist the school in
the overall development of the institution “so that the OAU would grow
more in leaps and bounds in the realisation of the dreams of the
founding fathers.”

I saw this waec result from my friend cousin, I was wondering is kind of
waec result possible in Nigerian. OK if it is possible, did the
candidate use is own brain to write this or did the person used any expo
or is it a mistake from waec.
This are the questions I do ask my self. So see for your self is this possible in Nigeria?
This is to inform candidates who participated in the screening exercise
of the University of Lagos that the portal for result checking has been
enabled.
Eleven federal universities are to share the sum of N1,577,414,000 or
1.5billion Naira in the on going post UTME exercise across tertiary
institutions nationwide.
Year in year out as students in Nigeria conclude their secondary school
education, they aspire to further their studies in tertiary
institutions. The first step in the series of stepping stones is WAEC,
GCE or NECO, then comes JAMB. The last is post UTME which some quarters
say is irrelevant since JAMB exists and others say is important as
tertiary institutions use it to further “sift the dirt from the shaft.”
Upon the purchase of University of Benin post-UTME forms, 60, 020
applicants, at 3,550 Naira each, would add 213,071,000/213million to the
school’s coffers. Being renowned for having the highest number of
applicants, University of Ilorin has 85, 945 applicants who picked up
the forms at 4000naira each and provided the school with 343,780,000/
343million. The Lion’s Den was not left out as the University of
Nigeria, Nsukka, with 57, 539 prospective students, at N2,000 trapped
115,078,000/ N115million.
Birthed by Delta State Government, Delta State University would bracket
236,562,000 / 236 million, from 78,854 applicants at N3,000 each,
whether they are admitted or not, whether they succeed in writing the
exam or not. In the heart of the nation’s economic capital, University
of Lagos, with 49,059 applicants would bag 96,236,000/ 196 million at
N4,000 per form.
The first capital of the nation, Calabar in Cross River State which
hosts University of Calabar has generated N116,837,500/ 116million
from 17,975 applicants at 6,500 per form.
Thirty eight thousand five hundred and twenty (38,520) applicants
purchased UTME form at N4,500 from University of Ibadan, that would
accrue N173,340,000 to the institution. Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile
Ife, which exists for learning and culture charged each of the 34,409
applicants N3,500 and bagged N120,431,500/ 120million.
Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, and University of Port-Harcourt both
charged 52, 785 and 28, 254 applicants respectively N2,000 for UTME and
bagged N105,570,000 and N56,508,000 respectively.
Despite the large number of applicants, the highest number that can be
admitted in varsities is five to six thousand. The question then is;
what happens to the rest?
This is very shameless..after some girls were caught servicing
themselves..The pictures were leaked online by one of their angry
room-mates who have warned them to stop their romantic relationship but
they refused.. The pictures have now gone viral as the girls have
reportedly left school due to the shame it has brought them…And by the
way, they are students of Lagos university…
The National Universities Commission, NUC, on Thursday denied 11 private
universities operating in Nigeria full operational licenses for their
inability to meet set standards three years after they were issued
provisional licenses.
Speaking at the presentation of the full
operational licenses to nine other private universities, the NUC
Executive Secretary, Julius Okojie, said the 11 affected private
universities were given two years to get their full operational
licenses, but failed to get in in three.
The affected
universities are Wesley University of Science and Technology, Landmark
University, Rhema University, Samuel Adegboyega University, Paul
University, Oduduwa University, Tansian University, Baze University,
Obong University, Achievers University and Wellspring University.
Mr.
Okojie, who did not mention any punitive measure for the affected
universities, explained that the provisional license was intended to
create room for effective mentoring and qualitative growth within the
first three years of operation of a new private university.
He noted that the universities were also to be monitored by NUC to
ensure that they comply with the original purpose of establishment. “That
was also part of NUC’s initiative for early warning signals to detect
compromises in quality for the application of corrective and remedial
measures to redress such situations,” he said.
He added that the
commission monitors the activities of universities in the country, and
inspects and penalises them through the accreditation process.
“If
we don’t monitor them now they will have problems. So they will slow
down on programmes, (we) look at their staff strength and look at their
programmes,” he said.
Also speaking, the Vice chancellor of Caleb
University, Ayodeji Olukoju, said private universities are the way
forward for tertiary education in the country.
He said since
interim licenses were given, the institutions had focused on academic
programme development, system development and infrastructural
development.
The nine universities that received full operational
licenses are Veritas University, Caleb University, Geofery Okoye
University, Fountain University, Adeleke University, Western Delta
University, Afe Babalola University, Salem University and Nigerian
Turkish Nile University.
A lecturer at the Ahmadu Bello University (ABU), Zaria was apprehended Sunday night at a private female hostel in Samaru, Zaria.
Daily Trust gathered yesterday that the
lecturer disguised by wearing Hijab (veil) and attempted to sneak into
the hostel before he was intercepted.
A witness, Khalifa Sha’aibu, alleged
that, that was not the first time the lecturer was entering the hostel
to visit his girl friend. Sha’aibu added: “The most annoying thing is the fact that the man used Hijab. As a Muslim, I feel sad that somebody would use something
that women of faith are known with to perpetrate crime. I wonder why
the man would not get a hotel room to perpetrate his immoral act. It was
a vigilante member that noticed the structure of the man and exposed
him
After he was caught, we discovered that
he has been entering the hostel with the consent of the girl. The owner
of the private hostel had barred men from entering the rooms.” It
was further gathered that the lecturer was handed over to a team of
army personnel that are manning a check point close to the university.
Daily Trust also gathered that the officers ransacked the lecturer’s house. When
contacted, Director of Public Affairs in the university, Dr. Ismail
Shehu, said he heard something like that but that no official report has
been made.
He added that when an official report is received, the university will take action. “As
you know, ABU does not tolerate indiscipline. Investigation would be
carried out and both the lecturer and student would be punished
accordingly. There is no doubt about that,” he said.
A primary school proprietor, Joseph Ogunleye, was on Thursday charged
before a Yaba Chief Magistrates’ Court in Lagos over alleged defilement
of two pupils in his school. Ogunleye, 56, whose address is unknown, is standing trial on a charge of defilement.
According to the prosecutor, Insp. Rita Momah, the accused committed the offence on June 27 at Ijegun, Ikotun, Lagos. She alleged that the accused unlawfully defiled an eight-year-old girl and a 10-year-old girl who were pupils in his school.
“A
nearby shop owner heard the two girls telling their friends about how
their school proprietor touched their private parts and that they cannot
tell their parents.
“The 10-year-old explained how the accused had
canal knowledge of her, while the 8-year-old also admitted that he did
the same thing to her. Ogunleye, however, pleaded not guilty to the charge. The Magistrate, Mrs O.A. Erinle, granted bail to the accused in the sum of N500,000, with two sureties in like sum. The case was adjourned till Oct. 26 for trial.
A
secondary school teacher in Kwara state was so excited all his students

The West African Examinations Council has released the May/June 2015
Senior School Certificate Examination results, withholding 118,101
candidates’ results out of the 1.5 million students that sat the
examination.
WAEC Head of National Office, Mr. Charles Eguridu, announced this in Lagos at a press conference on Monday.
Eguridu
added that the states owing WAEC had reduced to 13, saying the
candidates in public schools in the 13 states would not have their
results until their state governments pay their candidates’ registration
fees.
The examination body had raised the alarm that 19 states
owed the agency about N4bn, an amount that might cripple the operations
of WAEC.

The federal government had backed WAEC’s threat to withhold results.
Permanent
Secretary, Ministry of Education, Mr. MacJohn Nwaobiala, while
interacting with State House correspondents after briefing President
Muhammadu Buhari late July, urged the affected states to redeem their
pledges to avoid embarrassment.

to belong to her girlfriend and was given the disgrace of her life by
those around, including fellow students.
It all happened when her friend
started looking for her BB for over 3 hours and could not find it. This
girl was asked if she saw the BlackBerry but she No, that she has not
seen it.
While the discussion went on, the phone rang and she refuse picking it,
